How to use this tool
- Select a PDF. The file is uploaded for analysis immediately after selection, before you start conversion.

- Press Start conversion, wait for the DOCX and save the downloaded file.
- Open the document in Word and check a representative paragraph, table and page break before using it.
Editable text or preserved appearance?
Editable Word extracts PDF text and organizes it into paragraphs and detected tables. It is intended for text-based documents such as reports and letters, where copying and changing content is your main goal. Complex columns, decorative elements and unusual fonts may require manual formatting.
Preserve Appearance renders each PDF page as an image and inserts it into Word. This is useful for viewing a page design in a DOCX, but the words inside each image are not individually editable. A document can be a Word file without containing editable page text.
Arabic PDFs and scanned documents
The conversion service includes handling for Arabic paragraph direction and mixed Arabic–English content. Results still depend on the way the PDF stores text. Check reading order, numbers and table cells in multi-column or heavily designed documents.
Scanned PDFs contain pictures rather than extractable text. OCR is not available in the current tool, so editable conversion cannot turn those pictures into words. Preserve Appearance can place the scanned pages in a DOCX if a visual copy meets your needs.
Check the result before you share it
Use a representative page to judge conversion quality before relying on a long document. Review headings, lists and tables, then adjust formatting in Word. Password-protected PDFs are not supported. The current file-selection limit is 25MB.

Privacy and data processing
Selecting a PDF uploads it to the ANJAZ service for analysis. Starting conversion sends it again for processing. Decide whether the document is suitable for upload before selecting it; processing is not local-only.
The service uses a temporary working directory and runs cleanup after returning the result or handling an error. Cleanup can be delayed if the service stops, so no deletion deadline is guaranteed for every failure scenario. There is no archive for retrieving past results: save your copy.

Can I edit the text in the downloaded Word file?
Use Editable Word with a PDF that contains extractable text. Preserve Appearance inserts page images, whose text cannot be edited individually.
Will the Word document look exactly like the PDF?
Exact formatting is not guaranteed. Editable output may need layout adjustments; Preserve Appearance gives a closer visual copy by using images.
Can I convert an Arabic PDF to Word?
Yes. The processor handles Arabic text direction, but complex reading order, fonts and tables still need review after conversion.
What is the difference between the two conversion modes?
Editable Word prioritizes reusable text and document structure. Preserve Appearance prioritizes how each page looks and inserts page images into Word.
Does this converter include OCR?
No. It cannot make scanned page images editable as text. Preserve Appearance remains an option for a visual DOCX.
Can I retrieve my converted file later?
There is no result archive. Temporary working files have a cleanup procedure after a response or error, but an exact deletion time cannot be guaranteed if the service stops. Save your downloaded copy.
